When God said to Adam: By the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread all the days of thy life. It was not a suggestion. Any other way is theft.
Plunder & Spoil is Thievery:
Did you think that we had seen the last of mass plunder and spoiling in the civilized western world, only to be shocked watching as mobs ravage the streets of American cities, plundering stores and spoiling their own towns? Did it seem that this kind of theft and terror was part of a bygone era of barbarians at the gate?
Plunder & spoil is just another step in the descent of liars and thieves. The western world, built on Judeo-Christian law and ethics, seemed to have subdued the barbarian for the most part, but as our societies have departed from the moral tethers of our law what we are experiencing is to be expected.
The only antidote to this social decay is repentance and a return to God given law in private and public life.
“But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth.” — Isaiah 42:22
